Lugansk State Medical University was founded in 1956 also called Voroshilovgrad state medical university. I.D. Vashenko was the first rector of LSMU who is the honored doctor of Ukraine.

The LSMU has received IVth accreditation level by Ministry of Health, Ukraine. The institute has more than 170 medical specialties, 400 medical staff, 60 doctors of science, 270 candidates involved in research & development projects.

The university has 3 academic buildings including laboratories for scientific research, fully equipped dental clinic, a center for family medicine, pharmacy labs etc. LSMU has a long term highly experienced teachers who always endeavor to provide quality education to students.

  • Tuition Fee = 1st Year – 3800$, 2nd 3rd – 4300$, 4th – 4400$, 5th 6th – 4500$
  • Hostel Fee = 650$ Per Year
  • Overhead Exp (Registration Fees, Health Checkup, Administration Fee, Airport Pick up, Immigration Clearance, Translation, Visa Extension till 6 year, Nostrification)–2550$
  • Total to pay in 1st year – 7000 $
  • 6 Year Medical insurance with full Medical Cover bear by student only – 250-300$ depends on UAH
  • University Tuition fee can be paid in 2 installments via SWIFT Transfer from India 1st year onwards

The medium of teaching at Lugansk State Medical University is English, Ukrainian and Russian language. Foreign students are allowed to choose between these languages as a medium for their MBBS course.
